I haven't heard from Val and his dad lately, they sure do work hard at their crappie fishing. Used to run into Val jr. at the fishin hole in wakefield but the place closed down last November. man did I ever tell some lies up in that place.

I know this is an old post, but I have to reply anyhow. I hope you realize how fortunate you are that your Dad is still around to just go fishing with, if nothing else. We don't appreciate that gift in life until they are gone. I lost my father to cancer when he was 55 years old. I would give anything to sit in the boat or on the bank again with him even on a bad day. Good post.
