Ive used orange minnows in the spring when wayers were muddy on lake chesdin and it seemed to have helped.now i see bass pro sells dye to change minnow colors.has anybody used this productdoes it help or is it a waste ? I dont know of its scented or not.thinking about using the orange to maybe just dip the tail in.

One of my friends in western NC puts yellow food coloring in the worm box for a day or two before fishing. The worms were definitely brighter. They had a really funky chartreuse sort of color. Haven't tried it myself but probably would if I think about it ahead of time.
Not sure about minnows. Guess it would work with them too???

try finding some rosie-red minnows, you can usually find them this time of year. ive not seen them after wintertime. their a little more hardy than the traditional silver minnows that i prefer
