Hey Don, what kind of glue did you wind up using when you put your xducer back on? Does that invalidate the warranty?

Bill, got the Terrova fixed Monday & will start putting everything back today..I will not use glue this time..I will go the 100% silicone route. I could not remove the TD cable coming down the shaft without tearing the outer sheath up. That Loctite Super Glue won't turn loose.
TM had 1 month of warranty left and was fixed under warranty..

I have been thinking about using black silicon. Let me know how it works.

I am assuming You guys are talking about glueing the transducer to the trolling motor? If so, Would not 3M 5200 work?CF

I used 5200 but have not tried to take the cable off the shaft. Might also think about 4200. It does not have the strength of 5200. Silicone aquaruim glue might also be a choice.

Ed, we are talking about running the xducer cable up the shaft of a Terrova. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/fishi...cer-mount.html I am going to try a good quality black product just to make it look better. I would use the 3M 4200 if it came in black. Whoops, just checked and it does come in black.
