Not that I want to start a controversy, but...who is the best one to follow around? Not that I am going to do a bunch of following, I was just wondering who is the best?

Probably no one in particular. Just stop and fish where you see a lot of boats. Remember, it only takes one big crappie or yellow perch to win so luck is a major factor.

They catch fish from shore at Bob's. And on the other side of the state line, and everywhere in between. Check deep holes. Check shallow flats. You just never know where they will be saturday. 3' is not to shallow when they are ready.

Thanks, TO64. I was just kiddin' around a little bit--I figured by now there would be alot of "the best". I was admiring your boat last weekend. It looks like it planes-out real nice.

Is there repciprosity with NC and VA in the river, or do I have to have a NC license if I cross the line?

I second that! And I've proven it the hard way.
Currently a non-fishing slacker! (not for too much longer)

And there is now a buoy marking the line. The line is nearly 5 miles from Bob's.

Well thanks. I put the biggest motor that it was rated for on it, that being 75hp.
