Had one of the best weeks last week than I have had in several months.
I did some fishing yesterday and the weather was cold, the lake had cooled down almost 10 degrees. Found fish where I normally do, but also in a place that I do not normally do well at unless it is winter or post spawn. Limited out in no time.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.
The last few days with the cooler weather and cooler water temps, I have been catching a lot of fish. I bream and crappie fish, and they are awake and alive right now. This is my favorite time of year to fish beside the spring.

They are hungry trying to get ready for winter is what I think is happening! Just the fall bite.
I have not really fished the fall in years here, but many years back when I did a little guiding and was mostly for bass, but every once in a while someone wanted some crappie. I had one spot that I could go with my wife or any other fisherman, just the two of us would average catching 60 to 70 per hour. The eat is full on for crappie and am sure other fish before winter!

Have you fished the crappie attractors you put out earlier? Sorry if you answered that on this video. Have not had a chance to watch it yet. Would like it know your opinion on the pvc modules you used versus the bamboo I put in concrete blocks and secure with sackcrete.
