    Thanks bud....

I used straight chart, carrot & gold/chart.....Color didn't seem to matter just was a matter of finding the productive piles.....

Good video SK, I enjoyed that! You got some good ones, but that lake seems to have a lot of really small ones so guess y'all had a great spawn!

Yes this lake hasn't been stocked with crappie in several years & it has so much structure & shallow areas that don't get pressure during the spawns that every year there's more than enough lil'uns to go around....
A lot of fishermen struggle to get on the crappie here since there wasn't much visible structure, I say wasn't because Harvey has put a lot of visible structure in several areas now...
Before Harvey the structure that was visible got beat up so bad that they really weren't productive, that's where using the electronics come in & give the ones that took the time to learn how to use them good fish....
With all that being said 3lbers are still very rare.....
    THANKS Skip....

    Thanks for the good reply!

Well if the water level stays up things should be really good soon. How likely is the water level to stay up like that I guess is the real thing, but with so many small ones that should bode well for the lake.

If guys are not catching crappie there then they are not looking like you are, lol!

Also one question is what were you using as I couldn't really tell. Was it just a jig or were you adding something to your jig?

I add Berkley Crappie Nibbles to my jigs to get them goin then wen them if they continue to bite....they work well on every body of water that I've ever fished for crappie & I always always have nibbles when goin feeshn....
The water level usually stays fairly consistent.....
