Default Headed to Lake Fork this weekend

All my buddies are chasing bass on a bachelor trip, but I am wanting to drag my boat and try some crappie.

Are there any rod restrictions? have looked and did not see anything of that sort. Also, any tips on methods that are working now, figure they should be in transition or at least close to spawning areas. Any help will be appreciated!

On Toledo bend this past weekend. They were coming into small coves with a channel leading into them. Females were in about 8 ft around strums and piles. Males were up in shallower water 3-4 ft. Also around stick ups and such. Dragging 1/16 Chartruse with ultra light. Single pole didn't do so hot. Should be real close to same conditions. Good luck to you.

Lake Fork is full, full of trees. We caught"crappie" on 1/2 oz white/chart war eagle spinner baits and Bass Crankbaits in fire tiger Bass fishing. At night they fish under the" bridges "with lights and fill their cooler's.just hook up to the party barges and drop a minnow.

We ended up marking a bunch of crappie on the main lake points, cold front had them pushed out, but couldn't get on them... did get into some nice largemouth though. First time I've bass fished in three years. Man Alive at all the stumps!
