Y'all would probably have better luck finding a guide on Lake Fork. I don't know of anyone that guides on Bob Sandlin. But I would start with Lake Fork guides for sure. Those guys usually know most of the guides in the area.
I live in Savannah, Ga. Each year I come to Longview to visit my Uncle who is 87 years old. I Will be in Tx next 2 weeks.
My unk loves to brim fish. At his advanced age it has become a huge problem to handle the boat and care for his needs.......so I am thinking of a guide who works Bob Sandlin.
I know most guides don't guide for brim....but I am hoping that someone in the area knows a name and phone of a guide who would consider taking us.
Plan would be for me to look out for my unk and the guide's job would be to handle boat and put us on fish.
Any suggestions appreciated

You think I like to duck hunt? I love to crappie fish!
Sorry don't know any up North of me here on Toledo Bend. However you should be close to LOP and also a natural lake with lots of Cypress trees which I would think you could kill the Bluegills around the roots of them. Not much better wood to hold fish then big Cypress trees. It's located right on the border of Texas and Louisiana and from pictures I see really beautiful. However I still do not know of a guide, but will ask a friend that lives just a block or two from the water on Caddo.
Yeah that's true about Caddo, but if you don't know where you are going, or have a GPS, you WILL get lost. There's a guide on Lake O The Pines, Jim Tutt. He is a FLW pro as well, but I think he only does bass fishing trips. There is a Crappie guide on Cedar Creek called Big Crappie Guide Service, I've never personally been with them but I've heard lots of good things. Cedar Creek is about 1 hour or so from Longview, up near Gun Barrel City. Finding bream right now would be tough. Check into Big Crappie, they seem like the kind of guys that can accommodate as well as put you on fish.

Okay here is some info on Caddo if that works for you. Here is a web site for a marina with guides...
Also have a good friend that says Henry Lewis is a good guide for you, a bit old and crusty, but my friend like him. Most will probably just bass guide, but give them a call.
