Thanks Chuck. I had a good talk with Fred today on the phone, sounds like he's got his toon running right and the electronics as well. Planning on getting with him over Labor Day and sinking some brush, or at least getting some spots marked for drops anyway.
I'm kinda getting cabin fever from not being up there for a month, even though I was getting my butt handed to me when I was up there a couple of times in July.
Anyone heard from Phil lately?

i havent heard from phil....been thinking about him, think i will give him a call tomorrow......if y'all are sinking brush labor day, i may be able to help.....not sure right now tho......

talked to phil today......he is good. he worked a shutdown, about 17 days straight, then had a wedding in la. and a few other things to do. he hasnt been fishing in a while. says hey to all...he will get back on when he can.

Everyone seems to be pretty busy. Found out yesterday that even though I'm heading to the lake for the holiday, I'm not sure how much fishin I'm going to get to do. Have a pig roast in San Augustine that may be a two day affair. Oh well, at least I will be eating good and sitting at a 42 table!
