Default Full cooler from Rayburn today. Thanks for the tip, Fred!!!

Hit it early this morning, fished some grass lines on the east shore in a series of coves south of the bridge messin' with the green carp. About 9, headed over to Amber Forest to a tree with some fresh treetops sunk under it. Ran out of kitchen pass time and had to leave em biting. Counted 8 bass and 40 crappie on the cleaning table. My best day on the water in a long while. Crappie were on minnows, but the bigger ones were taken on chart/black/chart hand-tied roadrunners and hand-tied medium blue/white jigs.

Ended up with almost 3 gallons of meat.
Today I got my scraped up thumbs. Ahhh.

Great mess of fish you got there. How deep was the water in Mud Creek? I think I'm going to weave my way down that direction next week if I can. I see the boats stacking in the trees just south of the bridge. Might drag some bails near the grass lines and see if I can come up with anything? Keep up the good fishing, Ferdi aka Fred
