    Default Lake Bob Sandlin

Been dang windy and couldn't go for a few days now, but before the wind, the crappie fishing was great. Limit out in about three hours. Sure catch a lot of little ones though.

Default Water level and lake conditions

Each May I come to Texas and take my uncle Brim fishing on Bob Sandlin. We fish out of the state park up towards the power plant.

Would you mind telling me what the lake level is and how the fish are doing ? I'm coming out in three weeks.

    Regards

Yes, Sir. The lake is about 8' low. I live exactly across from the State Park. You need to be careful running though, because of the stumps. I don't know about brim, bass, or cat fishing , but the crappie are doing good at the hwy 21 bridge and at the railroad bridge. I have done well over the brush piles. The crappie here on this lake are at 18 feet anywhere on the lake. I hope this helps you. If I can assist you, please let me know.

    Sincerely,
    Jim
