Thread: Choke Canyon

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and fairly new to crappie fishing. I am not asking for locations, just patterns. Been to Choke Canyon twice in the last month and have caught very few. The other crappie fisherman have seemed to struggle also.

The question is have the crappie spawned on Choke or is it an unusually late spawn? Thanks for your feedback in advance.

With the water temps being that high, that is a good question. We have been catching them in the shallows here for 3 weeks now. Catching em them around wood docks at the moment w/cork and jig. They seem to be holding best in the docks that are 8'. Never fished Choke Canyon so can't really help you out there.
