Water is in the parking lot at Hurricane Creek on Priest.

If you're a novice at loading/unloading or backing a trailer, I'd stay away from there and Smith Springs until the water levels recede.

Channel 4 said Goodletsville to Gallatin got 3 to 4" of rain last night. I know the water must have been up to my boat trailer spindles from what I saw of the trash on the tree trunk next to the boat. A little deeper and I might have seen my boat down the street. I had enough water that washed down from my neighbors drive and down through the woods in back of my house, that put top soil in my drive. Never had that happen before.

went to cages bend ramp this morning.the water is insane got to be 4ft high or more.the station camp creek ramp is completely under water except about the first 20ft of the parking lot. where i fish some at cages bend there is a culvert that is either 6 or 8 ft tall and normally the water is about 8inches deep threw it .now it only likes 2ft being to the top

everywhere on priest is absurdly high, why they're not releasing anything is unknown. Put in yesterday at fate sanders and the water was in the road, and it's 6" - 8" higher today.

They're not releasing right now because they can't. Priest Dam releases into the Cumberland river. With all the other lakes on the Cumberland chain, they have to release a little at a time to avoid flooding other areas. Water won't be right until June.

Without any rainfall and with both the generator and gates open, Priest draw downs is around 6 inches in a 24 hour period. Priest right now is over 7 feet above normal summer pool. It will take months for Priest to get back to the normal pool level. I'm thinking it will take until August-September to get back to 490.

Yesterday ( Sunday Morning ) went to Shutes Branch and both docks were under water and could just see the top 6 inches or so of the hand railing on the metal walkways to the floating part of the dock. Left and went to both Cooks and Seven Points on Priest and both parking lots and docks were under water. This is one of if not the most rain soaked months of April and early May I have ever seen.
