Thread: A Thanksgiving!

Well it being Thanksgiving Eve and me being a drink man it starts a very busy holiday season. So i went in at 4am this morning and came home @ 11am to get some sleep before hitting it again @ 4pm this afternoon. I was laying on the couch and the phone rang it was my wife and she had friend call and tell her something was on fire behind the house, so I jumped up and the backyard was on fire and the wind was blowing it straight to my shed and house. I grabed a broom and started to put out the fire, it had started two house down where they were burning trash and something had blowed up in the trash spreding it all over. I'm very thankful to have been home or I might have lost everything!! This will be one to remember for many years of how lucky I was.:D

I am glad everything was all right.About the samething happened to me last year.the guy next door was working on a car in his garage when the car back fired throught the carb.My boat and all my tackle was in my building just right over from it.I was in the the house when i saw the blaze throught the widow i got everything out ok.But a person never knows when something like that will happen.
