    Default 4 1/2 lb Pickwick tailrace crappie.


    Had a guy tell me today. That a TWRA officer helped weigh a 4 1/2 lb crappie caught below the dam.
    Now that was a hog.

    Who is that?
    We have three that work the 2 county's here.. I will see them in the next few weeks. And try to find more info.
    One of them is a crappie fisherman and fishes the Big sandy river.

    Maybe they took some pic,sure would like to see!
    Talk too a guy the other day,said he had been cacthing a lot of crappie below the dam over by the lock wall,from the bank.

    Jeff they start catching them there in Feb. Wish I could get down the bank. I sure would be in there fishing.
    I have fished it with the boat a few times. If I can catch it when theres no one in there bank fishing. Will not get in the way of the people on the bank. But theres some that could care less and mess there fishing up.
