Thread: Watts Bar 03-03-08 Ft Loudon 03-04-08

Fished Watts bar sunday in Caney creek area. 35 degrees when we put in. Water temp was 44. We pulled every color in the boat trolling, but no fish. Bait fish and seagulls every where, but no crappie.

Fished Ft. Loudon Monday morning around dam. 45 degrees and sunny when I put in and water slick as glass. Water temp was 50- 52. Fished my favorite 2 docks and caught 7 keepers quick. Moved to a tree about 10:00 and caught 3 on first 3 casts. Wind picked up to around 700mph LOL and couldn't keep boat in a 40 acre area. Went home @ 10:30 with 10 nice 11"-13" crappie. All fish were caught on minnows and float in 6'-9' of water.

Best weather of the year if the wind would go away.
