Great report. I used to do stuff like that in my younger days. The last time that I stood on rip rap and fished from the bank, I twisted my knee that hurt for a couple of days. That was 3 weeks ago. Note to self: Don’t do that anymore. Lolol.
Woke up to pouring rain and I thought to myself, "It may be a good day for bank fishing since no one will likely be standing on the rip rap but me."
Threw a float n fly in the truck and I was off.
Was slightly miserable standing there in the cold wind and rain but I am glad I went. These types of days have been the best so far. The opportunity yielded 13 crappie, 1 bass, and 1 carp to the years tally.
Those europeans would have been proud of my carp but here in the states, I'm sure no one would care. All of the crappie I caught were blacks except for one white crappie. A few of the smaller males were starting to get dark with water temp at 63.
Maybe the windy and rainy days will let up soon.

Good job! Thanks for sharing!
Good catch, the fish are already wet. I did the same thing yesterday, bank fished and caught a Drum, Gills, and a couple Bass. Working from home is nice but sometimes a break is needed.
Good Show!
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
Well done!
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
That's FUN-FISHIN' right there
