I use the viscous 4 lb hi VI's for longlining. It use to be made here but I think it's made elsewhere now. That was the main reason I got it but I liked it. My spool is almost used up. I have used the Mr.crappie as well.

Is it still USA made? I looked at their website and looked like some was made here and some not?

I've got two relatively new 330yd spools that have Made in USA on the box, but my (older) 2360yd bulk spool does not have any "origin" on the label. These are all Vicious Panfish hi-vis copolymer lines.

My 500yd spool of Mr Crappie hi-vis mono says it was made in Taiwan, on the box. I do have an older bulk spool of Mr Crappie 4lb test hi-vis line that does say "Made in USA" on the label.

Mr. Crappie 4 lb test. No trolling for me. Shooting docks and tight line casting hair jigs only.

Suffix Elite Hi-vis yellow 4 lb test for single pole fishing both docks and off shore fishing. I don’t troll because I have no interest in the boat hooking the fish and me just reeling it in. I only want to finesse fish for crappie and I do that year round. Sort of expensive in the small packs but I got a 1/4 lb spool for $38 on line from eBay.

If you use cheap line you get what you pay for. Mr. Crappie and crappie max are crap. I use a quality line such as stren, suffix, e.c.t.
