    Anyone fish Patrick Henry Lake for crappie? I live so close to it but haven’t caught but a few from the bank...

    If you have a boat there are several docks on the lake that have some brush and structure around them. Most of the ones I used to fish around were down the lake from Warriors Path State Park. I never caught a lot from that lake, caught more trout and bluegill than anything. Bass were seasonal like Crappie, with Spring obviously being the best time to fish.

    This Rainbow came from Patrick Henry, caught from the bank in the upper part of the lake, but that was 25+ years ago when I was younger and a little more adventurous!

    That sure is a pretty bow... I only have a 10ft pelican hard plastic pontoon... if I had a normal boat I would try to shoot docks some... looks like dad and I are going to fish south holston tomorrow from the bank... I haven’t really trout fished at patrick henry and ironically I do a lot of trout fishing...
