Bones- I agree I think the big eye runs rampant in the spring. 140 boats in the tournament and only 2- 2lber's. Oh well its fun. We whooped on them pretty good Monday.No monsters, just good eaters. Think we are headed to Grenada this weekend to look around for the tournament there.

hey guys are they biteing yet at the foot. about 29 days till i get there, cant wait. Is there a place close to cypress point were a guy can buy minnows by the pound, anad what is the price. Went Sunday up here in Northern Ky caught 5 small ones water at 46 here.

Hey guys, new to the board. I agree with IWISH, big eyes runs wild around reelfoot. A LOT of 2 pounders until tourney time comes around.
I fished hard last year, except the summer months, finally caught 1 fish that weighed 2lbs 1oz on the Berkley digital scale. Caught her in Dec. I almost went all of 2006 without a 2 lbs fish. Still haven't caught 1 this year. Maybe Saturday.
Bandit, how'd you do in the tourney? I know a guy from D'burg last name starts with a C and has a Gator Trax boat. Played Baaseball, nickname 'wheels'.
Cracker, I did go back and see a pic of you holding a fish, don't guess I know you.
Did any of the rest of you fish in the reelfoot tournament? How'd you do?

Yep thats me. We did not do any good in the tourney. We had about 6 lbs and did not weigh in.

Bandit, We're going to Grenada to try to get qualified. I know of a few other reelfoot locals going down, how 'bout you. Not expecting to do any good in the tourney, but I would like to catch a 3 pounder.
