    Default Hiwassee/ Chick


    Great morning on the water still doing the Board Thing. My partner today a was good friend and deer hunting buddy of many years. we trolled 1/16 minnow heads dressed with various Charlie Brewer sliders around a local creek and bay to the tune of 30 keepers in a little over 2 hrs. Had so many short fish, catfish, yellow bass and drum to count. Still catching females with eggs but now there are signs of males and females with wore out tales so I guy the end is near(spawn that is) Water temps were 68 to start and 72 when we quit. Not many people out. Changing gears next week to my favorite. The power troll!!!! Had to mention this for my good friend The Drumking. lol
