Taking my 76 yr old dad to reelfoot for some bluegill fishing for his bday and was looking for recommendations on a good guide. Looking to fish may 19th.

Billy Blakley hands down when it comes to bluegill on the foot. You can contact him through Blue Bank Resort. I have never hired a guide ever, but if I ever did it would be him. Especially when it comes to bluegill.

I've used him for Crappie a few times, planning a Blue Gill Trip in June with him, he's 3rd Generation guiding on Reelfoot. He can pick you up or meet you wherever you are staying. Good guy. I have a fiberglass boat, it will never see Reelfoot Lake...lol

Lots of decent guides for Reelfoot. But May bluegill should prime time and an easy target to nail down. I'm sure myself or someone else could put you on some good fish. Don't want to cut someone out of a guide fee though
