How neat. Missed you at the tournament. Good pix and post.
Friday evening (3/24) my fishing partner was Theo Hirotoma from Japan. Theo asked if I would take him fishing and show him how to catch crappie. We headed to Tellico for the last few hours of the day and started Planer Board fishing at 5pm. I wasn't sure how good the fishing would be since the water was stained from the last rain we had and the wind was blowing fairly strong. Put the boards out and found it difficult to keep my speed constant with the wind picking up and slowing down. First I'm running too fast then I'm too slow but still managed to catch fish despite the conditions. 1/16 oz jigs and sliders in any color seemed to work fine this time which is not always the case. I set back and let Theo catch all the fish even when two rods were on at once. He said this was the best fishing experience he had ever had with 44 crappie caught in 3 hours and 18 keepers. This is about the time he started talking about buying a boat. We all know what this means. LOL

Very nice trip.![]()
Life is good. Fishing is better.
Good to hear you are expanding the fishing industry base.
I hope the fishing will be good this year when I get back in June

Great catch. Hope you explained to him what B.O.A.T. Means. LOL
When someone is talking about buying a boat you know you've had a great trip. Sounds like Theo is "hooked". :-)
