Rented a spot for my camper on Douglas Fished two weeks . The first time it was so windy didn't get to fish The second time there was so much trash on the lake you couldn't get around Is it always trashy and when does it clear up Are there many catfish in Douglas thanks for any info

Most lakes that have winter draw down schedules will be trashy for a period when TVA starts the process of raising the water levels back up to summer levels, Douglas is no different. Boat traffic will push the shore trash back to the shores in time.
