    Default Lake Graham Jackson

Thinking about going Saturday morning. I've never fished there before. TWRA had a nice write up about it in my last magazine. Anyone ever fish it? Not looking for GPS coordinates or anything just general info. I'm either going there or Reelfoot, but figure the foot will be crowded

It's full of standing timber just under the water.

There some big bass and catfish , nice bream, some crappie... If you have a big boat be careful, very easy to get hung up on an underwater stump..there use to be waterways cleared, but over time all the tree tops have fell and now its hard to find the lanes.

Careful if it's windy. Graham can get pretty rough if the wind is over 10 mph especially out of the north or south. Lake seems to funnel the wind. My 8 ft Basshunter does fine out there in calm conditions.

Nice lake. Way too clear for crappie IMO. I have no clue how to catch crappie shallow in water that clear. Could see bottom 4' down. Will be back though. Plenty of stuff to fish around.

Good Luck!!!! I've caught one crappie in 30 years out there and that was by accident. They are there in large numbers but hard to find.
