Those are some fatties. Keep looking, you will find her.
Been a while since I've been on here, but I just got back from a short stay at Dale Hollow. Did a little fishing with the family and pulled in lots of little gills, but no real size to them. I went out early one cloudy morning by myself to my new-found honey hole. Crappie were literally jumping out of the water chasing baitfish! Never saw that before. They bit good on minnows, of which I only had a few, but I got a couple throwbacks on jigs n nibbles. Even caught one trolling a crank after I ran out of minnows, which is a first for me. Couldn't get a crappie to hit crickets, worms, crawlers, mealies or waxies. Got a ton more little gills though. Ended up with 8 in the 10-12" range. Still looking for that DH slob...

FISH ON
Thanks guys. I hope to get back again this summer. Found some more promising looking spots but didn't have much time to fish this last trip.
