    Default Dale Hollow Help May 27th-May 31st.


    Hello everyone. I will be renting a houseboat on Dale Hollow May 27th-May 31st and looking for some help catching crappie. We are renting out of Dale Hollow Marina at the lower end of the Lake. Any help will be greatly appericated.

    jstatham,

    I think the crappie will be deep at Dale Hollow by then. Your best bet will be to find some sort of structure on a deep point, or perhaps hang a light over the side of the houseboat and dunk some minnows at night. Good luck...it is a beautiful spot. Be sure to get a trout license, too..and try some nightcrawlers about 35 ft below the light you put out for crappie.

    Wanna catch fish. Wearing out the Bluegill and Shellcrackers in 5 - 10 feet of water. Splitshot and a worm.

    minnows over lights at night is your best for crappie. Alone main channel ledges or points.
