Yes gotta tick off me last wk had buried his head deep in my bicep. They are every were time to treat the pets too.
Just wanted to remind everyone to be careful, it's that time again. I went and scouted a new spot the other day, a piece of property on the lake that is for sale, I called the realtor and got permission. When I got back home I had 3 ticks crawling up my legs. I've also seen a snake on each of my last three trips, it's still pretty cool out so I walked right up on them without them running off. I nearly put my hand right on one of them while climbing around on the rocks below the dam. I know they aren't poisonous unless they are copperheads, and I actually like snakes, but still a water snake can draw blood pretty good and their little needle teeth can break off in your skin and hurt for quite a while and get infected. Ask me how I know, I don't try to catch them on purpose any more! Anyway just a reminder, use bug spray around your ankles and if it's real bad tuck your pant legs into your socks. Looks real stylish, too.
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.digihax LIKED above post

I turkey hunt a lot. I treat my clothes with cattle delice. That stuff is good for 8 washings and I DO NOT get ticks or chiggers. I still occasionally run across a snake though!
Thank you man I forgot about the ticks and snakes, what kind of bug spray would you recommend for me?
Edit: oh man that reminds me, I can't take my dog fishing with me ...
I took the grandson to big ridge the other day to fish a little & got eat up by little bitty ticks, 1 was found on my leg the next day & it left a red itchy bump, last fishing trip there for me
