Default Douglas - 3 Dec 2013 Great Day

Rained off and on all night but cleared up before daybreak, we (Harold L and I) got a earlier start then on Monday. When we got to where we were going there was one other boat there and by 9:30 there were 30+ boats around us (Dang don't no one work anymore), but everone was catching fish. We counted at 9:45 and had 26, caught three more in the next ten minuted and spent the next hour getting the last one. When I came out I talked to some Spidder Riggers that had their limit and saw some tight linners that only liked a couple, we were float fishing, so it is just what ever float's your boat right now it is just not going to get mush better then this. Pic's attached.

    Congrats on another good day.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Looks like they are getting nice and fat. Hope that is an indication that the Spring spawn will be a good one!

Saw you there , but didn't get a chance to holler at you. Too many boats and too many fish being caught . The young man in the back of the boat was doing a good job pulling them in. It took us until 4:00 but we finally got two limits. Float , flies and no minnows. Good to see you back out there again.

A lot of fish being caught and I can understand a man didn't have time to stop and chat, but anytime you see me out there and fishing is a little slow be sure and holler at me. Nice day today but Sears and Roebuck knocked me out of going today. See you on the water.

I was using two small flies (normally I use only one) one at 9ft and the other at 8ft, color didn't seam to matter, I had several friends out there and I don't think any two of us were using the same color, I fished Chart and Blue, not my favorite color combo but they worked, we fished 19 to 20 ft water depth.
