Thread: Douglas - 2 Dec 2013 Loaded the Boat

I finally got to get back out on the water (late this morning), for the past four (4) weeks I have been layed up with the flu that turned into bronchitis and man was that some bad stuff. But second cast ---Sha Zam--and it would go a solid 1 1/2 lbs (Slauber Knocker) I didn't know if that was a good thing or a Jinx but it turned out to be a good thing, I took a man from our church and we caught 28 really great keepers. The wind picked up a little and the air had a good chill to it (Surf Temp 50.1) and he only had a light jacket and you know the rest of the story, but I did talk to several boats and most had their limit and was leaving or they were real close.
