Default Douglas - 16 Oct 2013 - Loaded the Boat

I went this morning by myself, I was going to pick Leta up but she never got feeling good, she has been taking Chemo for over a year now. First cast one hit it sinking (missed it) and the next nine cast I put nine Slobber Knockers in the boat, it only took an hr to have 15, once in awhile that's good, but I would have rather fished for at least 4 hrs and enjoyed just being on the water.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I would agree, I stopped and caught them at one spot. I normally catch 5 or 6 and move on and find more spots, but this morning Leta was sleeping after had taken Chemo, so I was kind of on a run and gun and get back as soon as possible. At one time I thought if I didn't catch fifty to a hundred I had a bad day, but an old man that fished with me then told me if I was always going to like fishing I must change the way I felt and just enjoy being on the water and if you catch one that is a bonus, took a few years to soak in but he was right.
