Thread: Reelfoot 4/22

Finally after a 2 year break got to fish. Reelfoot was good to me. Went Tuesday morning and got my limit in a short time jigging. They bit light but the fish were everywhere and hungry. Windy..... About half females as full of eggs as have ever seen them, and half males. Males were bigger, go figure. Males color was light and not too dark. I thinks they might just be gettin right! No bluegill at all. Grizzly Jig w/ wax worm. 1-2ft of water. Dropped my phone in the lake so I paid for having the good luck. But it was worth it to limit out after not having been in 2 years. Most fish about a pound with a couple bigguns and a couple littluns. Did not throw anything back, got my 30 and went home. Phone was ruined so no picture, but I still got my carcasses so I will take a picture tomorrow :-) Im goin back in a few days maybe. Saw a guide leaving that was jigging and they had some whoppers and a great big cooler full of them. Bigguns....Happy fishing
