Hello there. A buddy and me are coming to Reelfoot this next week to do a little fishing and relaxing. He's from Alabama. I'm from NE Louisiana. We hope to catch a few bream and crappie. If not I'm sure it will be an enjoyable trip anyway. See to chubby fellows thats not catching any fish stop and say hello. I'll be wearing overalls and I havn't trimmed my beard since last September so I should be easy to spot. Think Santa. Good luck everyone.

We also will be there 4/20 - 4/27. My scrubby chin hairs barely qualify as an Uncle Si starter kit, but Santa ain't got nuthin on my belly!! If any of ya's see us, please say hi to me and my gal. We will be in a Red and Silver Bumble Bee with a 150 Johnson hanging off the back. Hopefully it will still be there when we pull out to leave to head back home! <,"}//>{ Tim

well i went today and got bummed.....got up at 0330, drove hour and 45 min to fish, get there and we tried shallows and only caught 3 in the trees on minnows, after trying every cypress tree and bunch of grass i could find we ditched that and backed out to bout 7 or 8 ft water spider riggin 2-5ft deep with jigs tipped with minnows- they seemed to like electric chicken tipped with minnow. wind blowin hard out of south made it very difficult to control boat. ended up with 6 fish total, mostly white and 1 black. all had eggs but the black was bloody sac.........
i still have not figured that [place out yet, i know fish are there i just cant catch them. BUMMED FOR SURE

Was hoping to come in today from offshore. Work in oilfield. Foggy today. I'm wanting to practice catching a few fish before I come up there. I was wondering if there are any grass shrimp in the lake.? Maybe they will be biting by the time I get there.
We have a Kentucky CDC sticker on the front of our council. I bought this boat from another CDC member. I'm on the hunt for some Iowa decals, but our board doesn't see much action. Hope meet up with some of you guys down there. We can swap truths! I'm confident I'll be able to find some patterns and I don't mind sharing a few tricks with others. See ya on the water, or at Boyettes!
