Hey guys will be fishing big sandy for the first time next week and I was just wondering where I should start? Should the fish start their transition to the shallower water by then? I have never so much have fished big sandy my whole life. I fish mainly on the new johnsonville side of the lake but have always herd big sandy is where the big ones are. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are they spider rigging, verticle fishing or casting? I don't have a spider rig setup yet,so what is the best way to catch them?

Just toss out as many lines as you can and keep the boat moving. Somebody dropped a bomb on those fish and scattered them everywhere.
