    Anybody fish these areas? Thinking about trying over there since it's closer to home than Big Sandy.

    I have fished Birdsong all my life, It used to be the only place I fished but it has changed alot through the years due to silt filling in alot of the creek. In my opinion you would be better off driving the extra fifteen miles to go to Big Sandy...Mike

    Thanks Mike, to where I fish in Big Sandy, Elkhorn area, its about 2 1/4 hours for me, makes it a little rough to day trip it and go to work. I generally put in at Mansard Island. Never fished the lower end of Big Sandy.
