Smile Anyone Crappie fish by Smyrna, I'm new to the area ?...

Hello guys, I was just wondering if anyone fishes out here in Smyrna,Tn I'm new to the area and I don't know of any good places to fish at really I don't have a boat so i have to depend on shoreline fishing lol. The only place I know of really but it's not a good spot is Stewert Creek Boat Dock on Weakly Dr. kinda close to the Nissan Plant, I haven't tried Elm Hill Marina on Bell Rd. close to Elm Hill Pk. yet (BC of gas lol)...I've only lived in this area for about almost 3 months now,but yeah,Stewert Creek Boat Dock just ain't happening it seems like. Any other good areas around here, or maybe Murphresboro ?...

The Stewart creek boat ramp is an excellent area to fish. No the boat dock. TWRA has a nice trial around the lake with lots of submerged structure. You will find in on Weakly lane before you get to the boat dock. This time of year you need to go all the way around the cove to the deeper bluff to fish from the bank.

This spring a lot of nice crappie were caught in that Stewart Creek enhanced area. The crappie probably in deeper water now. One man this spring was wading at the end of the cove and had some nice keeper size fish.

You can walk through the woods at the end of the parking lot past the ramp and fish in some deep water, the channel runs near the small bluff.

Also go to the head of spring creek, get a map or google. You will have to walk a ways. Spring creek is real good in winter.

Also can fish areas around Poole Knob.

Also look at FishingTN.com Tennessee's Fishing and Boating Community, several people that post there fish the Stewart Creek area.
