Good deal glad you caught some. The stumps are showing pretty good and easy to get hung up on.

Yea I hammered them this morning from 7:30 to 9:30. Kept 20 good fish. Now is not the time to go on Reelfoot if you dont know what your doing. I had little problems with stumps but big problems with the carp. One jumped in my lap. I had to duck about a 40lb carp as he about tagged my head. He got me bloody and my boat bloody. Blood everywhere. Another one jumped in and hit me in the back but only about 5 lbs. I got three total and my cats really like them :D Man I hate them suckers..... I was suprised I got 3 that jumped in. I had a couple jump over the boat and several hit the side. Most I have seen out there.

Fishing was real good.... Lynn I saw your pop. He said he caught 4. Must have been trolling...:D

You know how he is on the slow trolling!:D You know he is retired now, so he is trying to do a little more fishing!! I'm glad you had a good day and saw the Pop!! I can't wait for it to get just a little more cooler!!! I hate them Carp!!!

hey west tenn you catch any at all on big stumps? everything we got was on the little "jacks", and the color was important! my buddy went yesterday afternoon and caught 25 from 12 to 4, had some nice-uns, i'm tryin to get back this weekend but i'm afraid we're going to the fair

King - Using the term "jacks" I know that you know whats up!! However, I caught my bigger fish on the bigger stumps for the most part. Its my experience that presentation, color, and depth are very important when fishing this way at Reelfoot. It is real hard to catch a bunch on the stumps without figuring out a few things first. I learned that last time the water was low and it has paid off with catching good fish and good numbers in minimal time. Patience...... Now shhhhhh.... No more secrets :D:D

Lynn - That is great!!!!! I did not get a chance to talk to him much since I had the boat sitting sideways ont he rail and was frustrated trying to get it right. Im sure I will see him out there and hopefully get to chat and give him a few tips!! He is a good guy and I always liked to talk with him!
