you might try a good fishing guide and pick his brains. post spawn crappie are spread out. trolling small cranks is a good way to find them this time of year.
Just got a new boat. I live in LaVergne and launch at Hurricane Creek, I used to fish Percy a few years back and have NO CLUE where to get on the crappie.
Waaaaay too hot to motor around looking for tree tops or brush piles.
Can someone PLEASE help me get on some fish. Getting tired of leaving the lake hot, sweaty, sunburned and fishless. Really taking the fun out of the new boat.
Thanks...
Mason.

Since I got rid of my boat and aint fishing that much. Try Hong Kong area and also around bear island. Also this time of year try party cove during the week a lot of brush in that area. Brian Carper is the best guide for any type fish on Percy. He will show you how and what to do. He has a web site you can check him out on. Tell him I said hello and sent you to him if you use him. Won't need GPS look for landmarks.
