    Smile Douglas Nightstalk 6-4-2010

Got on the lake for few hours last night. Had to leave about midnight as one of our group had a Saturday AM commitment in Kingsport. Caught a mixed bag of 24 fish. Some "big" white bass and 'gills. Also, a few nice slabs. Kept 5 to clean. Here's a "phone pic" of the biggest crappie of the night...15". Lot's of fun with some of my favorite folks on the planet

You're almost right TennCrappie!!!! I cleaned them this afternoon and packaged them in two packs for my elderly neighbors who will easily get two meals out of what we kept.... A lot of fun to "deliver" boneless fillets to older neighbors who will love them, but can't get out to catch them any longer

I played around a little after dark, although I was fishing with no submersible lights. Caught some small stripers. Have to get parts ordered for making some lights it seems.

Good thing, it was peaceful out on the lake.

    You making me jealous Dr.....

DR. John, I learned the value of keepin friends and neighbors that still have the need but have, for one reason or another, lost the ability to enjoy fresh fish a while back. For some of them, I would rather eat a burger and give them my fish. Their eyes get so big when I show up.
