    Default Greenwood Sat: SLOW!!!!

Took my cousin from NC out on Sat AM with what looked to be a great day for crappie fishing. Fished the lower end of the lake for 2 hours where we have been catching fish the last 3 weeks and caught 3 crappie. Moved to hidden lake and caught 10 mostly smalls. Plenty of boats in Cane Creek, but didn't feel like fighting the crowd. Didn't see anyone else catch a fish all AM. Went back Sat afternoon and caught 4. Boats I talked to weren't doing any good. Anybody else want to report??? Oh yeah, water temp was 57 lower end and 58 in Hidden Lake.

Boy I sure am glad to hear we were not the only ones that had it real slow Sat. We put in at Shriners at around 7:00 yesterday morning, they was a line already at the ramp everybody headed twords Twin rivers. We went to the slue and started off fishing some docks and 6-10 foot brush.Nothing but some bigole perch. Moved out into the center of the slue and caught 5 crappie, drifted out to the long shallow point that runs between the slue and main lake and my son caught 1 slam full of eggs looked like she was ready to bust that weight around a pound and half. Packed up and headed out by 1:00.. There were alot of boats around us in the slue and didnt really see anybody catching any..
Water temp in there was 58-60..

    Default Greenwood Sat.

I was on the water at daylight Saturday, fish 14-foot to 5-foot of water with Jigs and Minnows.
    Caught 5-fish.

Fished Rabon Creek which produced four fish in 1.5 hours spidder rigging.

Observed boats at the bridge that crosses Rabon sticking with jigging the bridge columns, they must have been having luck because they were staying with-it in the cool shade of that bridge and boat traffic.

By 1:30PM the wind was just uncomftable for me, I left.
