    Default Lake Murray...Little River

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what to do when fishing the day after a big rain. Up in the Little River where I do a lot of fishing the water becomes muddy and real trashy. Anyone have any advice on where to go catch some fish (more towards the split in the rivers?). I appreciate it.
Hooking up every chance I get!

Try darker colors with chartruce and maybe some flash/vibration baits(roadrunners) in stained water. Also, I have tried some crappie nibbles to provide scent. I have caught fish in stained water, they are still there but they can't see the bait so you must make then feel it and smell it to get a reaction strike. Good luck!

also try to stay ahead of the mudline , alot of times ( countless ) I have caught them right on the mudline ! good news is Little River clears up alot faster than the big river , So even though we got rain & some freash water , it should clear up pretty quick , Also my experience is ,muddy water is not all bad, not near as bad as fresh water , also the fish tend to get higher in the water when it is muddy, the muddier the higher, once while fishing in some muddy water the day after a big rain, we were above blacks bridge , anyway , I had just caught a fish & had the jig just hanging over the side of the boat while I strighten out the lines & low & behold the rod went down & it could not have been any deeper than 1 foot, we shorten our lines really short & the bite was on big time

sorry for the rambling , i justget excited this time of year , when you go out at night & you hear the "crappie bugs" lol really frogs singing ,and 1st light the red birds singing , man you just know the Craps are biting
