high rock has a size limit of 8" and it is hard to catch a 8" crappie out of that lake some days, i have seen 150 crappie in a day and not even come close to 20 keepers. im sure in the future it might pay off but right now i think they have toooooooo many crappie and they are fighting for forage, dont get me wrong it is fun to catch the small ones but you can go thru 10 dozen minnows and have five keepers :D

I'm not sure why this was in question to start with because it been in the Rules&regulations book for as long as I can remember on pages 16&17.

Anyway these little some beaches need to be removed as game fish as several have stated already. They must breed year-round because it appears they reproduce like roaches. They are tasty if you can find them big enough but the small ones make great cat bait.

    Y'all have a great day.

It's all fun and games until they open the trunk.

If they are listed as game fish, are they legal to use as bait?

per page 20 of the SC fishing regs

Game fish used as bait must be included in
daily creel limit, 30 bream per day (see pg. 18).

this is how NC bait dealers get away with selling trout for striper bait on lake norman.
