    Greetings all,
I've been reading your pages for about a week and like what I see, how would a person learn these "nightstalking" tactics? I've not done alot of lake fishing and am struggling, I have my own boat and any advice would be helpful. would also be interested in the Wateree tournament if y'all take on new members.

    Thanks

hey homespun. the best advice i could give for someone gettin started in night stalking is before you invest any money in equipment would be to go with someone whose nightstalking a time or two first and see how they are set up and you will get tons of ideas on how to do your own boat. you have a boat so you have a platform. its all a matter of setting it up to your own tastes after that. from anchors, lights, rod holders, reel and rods etc. it varies from boat to boat so if you can go with someone a night or two you will have a lot of questions answered for you and you can see how it works. the night bite is gettin cranked up and from now on into the early summer theres usually a good bite most nights you get to go. i may be going tomorrow night if you can go, let me know. ill be going again monday night to and have a seat then if you wanna go. we usually come in around midnight or so, depending on the bite and weather. let me know and you are welcome to come one them nights.
what we doing at wateree is not a tournament, but a one day trip striper fishing. anyone is welcome to join us. last time we done it, we had great participation and had a five dollar pool. this time, to make it a little better pool for the winner, it will be a ten dollar pool. this will be for the biggest striper caught for the day. one fish with one winner. simple as can be. all you gotta do is catch the biggest striper of the day so anyone who has a baited hook in the water stands a chance of winning. you are welcome to fish with us if you want. alls you gotta do is show up.
listen with your eyes---its the only way to beleive what you hear...

They are easy, BUT they ain't cheap...all you got to do is bring plenty of bee....er ahh..medicine for these guys to help ward off any illness that might be lurking.

Rango I'm in if you still have an opening tonight or Monday. Just tell me when and where and what I need to bring. I take a little medicine from time to time myself, just in case of illness. Don
