    Default Whisker's Eastern Adventure.

I took a day trip on my staycation this week little further east to Greater Bishopville area to try out the blackwater out there and see the Cotton/Veteran's Musuem. Killed a little time at Lee State Park. The usual fishing pond I was told was drained out and fishing well...non existent. I was told by the kind hosts that there was an Oxbow Pond by the Equestrian Center. After a pleasant drive thru the sandy road country, I finally found the place and casted out a few times. Caught a new to me species of bream called Flier. 3 of them and a regular gill. Nice little park. Stopped and got some extra fishing gear from Crossroad Outdoors and attended a nice museum to boot. Thanks for your post! It looks like everyone else stopped fishing or are too embarrassed to tell us about their trip.
