This is my first post. My granddaughter and I smoked ‘em Monday. We trolled from noon to 4, and caught a total of 32 legal crappie. Threw back several that we could have kept just to let them grow some more. The better sized fish were about halfway down in 20-25 ft of water.

What weight /type/color jigs worked best?
Minnow
1/16 ounce, pink heads ; curly tails tipped with minnows; most of the fish hit white color, but some hit John Deere green. Caught a few on darker colors, but not many. Went back yesterday and only got 5 keepers. It was much windier. I think that light breeze on Monday helped.
