Thanks
I saw this product where you get the metal hot with a torch and the just feed some type of welding rod into the joint. Looked good, no welders helmet needed

Boat looks good. You have done a great job on the front of your boat. I'm getting ready a bit differently though....with crossbows, deer stands, food plots, etc. Regardless, I'm READY for a bit cooler weather.
I have seen that but I’m just not sure about it !

Awesome job! Do you MIG or TIG weld aluminum? I just bought a spoolgun for my Miller 211 but haven't took it out of the box. I have used a spoolgun on my old MIG welder. I have a arc welder I can TIG weld steel only on. Also do have something to bend the rod holders or do you heat then bend?
Great looking job all around.
How did you coat the rod holders ? I used Plastidip like you use to coat tool handles like pliers, etc. but they are much smaller than the rod holders. Just wondered how you dipped them or coated them. I'd like to do mine if I can figure out a good way to do it. TIA
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
I tig weld the alum.
I have a jig to bend the SS rod and tig weld them together . I use 1/4 “ SS rod
