    Default Another Kill Switch Video

Since the last video of a guy getting thrown from a boat got a lot of attention. This one popped up on my Youtube feed today. A little different scenario with the ejection and rescue, but still a good video to learn from.

Some people just come up smelling like roses. They could have been chopped to pieces or drowned or maybe both! Just because you wear a flotation device doesn't mean you are bullet proof or that your face will be above water. Reckless and lucky! Glad they are okay and hope they learned to slow down! As they say you can't fix stupid!

It don't take but a second to go from the usual to emergency. These videos give me the willies... but they are very good reminders to everyone just how fast things can and do go bad.

    What caused it?
Just a tiny turn at high speed?

They could've hit something being that close to the channel marker. One thing to remember too with these bass boats and even some bay and flats boats. Is when you are turning going that fast the boat will want to slide. If you get "bow bite" or "nose bite" first the boat will pivot around on the nose and you're going for a ride. He should've lifted on entering the turn so the hull strakes would grip and turn like it's supposed to.
