Default Wylie long line report 4/11/2019

Ok after yesterday fishing the wife wanted to go. Got on the water at Little Allison at 8:00. We were up Allison at a place where they like to stage at where I have caught big girls. Got three lines out and wife brings in the 14 incher. Ok we are off to a nice start. Water looks good in Little Allison and we did well there. So we decided to move to Torrence and started bout 2/3rds back where they like to stage at and troll towards the back. I started to put rods in the water and was catching fish faster then getting 8 rods in the water. Stayed in Torrence 90 minutes and headed home. Same setup as yesterday. I am really starting to like a Blue body with white tail. It was magic yesterday and today. Wife got 19 good keepers. 0ne 14 inch a bunch of 13 inch and 12 inch and a few 11 inch. Every time I would catch one she said throw it back it is too small I like quality. You did not go for quality 42 years ago when we meet why start now? She let me catch the slimer 3 bass and the perch and yes a bunch of crappie under 11 inches. You gotta love em. She did real good getting the fish back to the boat I was not so good with net. Couple of times the fish were going back and forth trying to get in net it was like who is on first?. She is camera shy but I said they are your fish so a pic is needed for our daughters.

It was tough to get a CK and Mrs. Crappie Kidd in action. They were moving so fast most pictures are a blur.Name: 20190411_142202.jpeg

    They do float!
Only if you read the fine print it states,

"Net is designed to sink to approximately 15 feet, then float there indefinitely "
