    Default Longline Wylie 3/19

Got off work and grabbed the dog and the boat. We had lines in at 5:15. Picked at a few along until about 7:00. Then the bite turned on. Brought back 8 for the table and threw another handful back. All fish were caught in 25-30FOW and they were suspended in the lower end of the water column. Down rods had the most consistent action. Black jigs tipped with minnows had the most hits. Name: IMG_20190319_205331~2.jpeg

The keep looks good. Crappie can make runs to the shallow at anytime now but finding them as deep as you found them is unusual for this time of the year,

Quick catching on some good fish. Stay on top of them and keep on reporting with pictures. I'm hating work more and more!

They were sitting on a point of a secondary creek. That creek gets shallow pretty quick, so it's like they were staged up waiting for a little warmer weather. I went up into that creek to around 10' but marked no bait and had no bites.
