Default A few pics of Santee fishing trips taken over the summer

I've been fishing throughout the summer with a mix of pretty good to so so trips. Limit catches were the norm on most trips, with a variance in the length of time it took to catch'em on most trips the difference. A good mix of quality and keeper fish made up most creel. With both white and black crappie being caught. Seeing all the good catfish reports coming out of Wylie, seems to be universal. I don't target catfish, but catch one or two on each trip over the last month or so. I've been doing a good bit of brush building and refurbishing as well. Things should start heating up now that Labor day has passed and cooler temps are not too far away.

Nice pics and fish. We're headed to Lake Marion on the 19th. Hopefully we can find a few like yours.

Good pics and report. The end of this long hot summer can not happen soon enough for me.

Glad you had a productive summer Tim. That smile on your grandson is a 1000 watts. It's obvious who his hero is and there's no better feeling.
